Business Email – Terms & Conditions

1. Email Hosting Service

SMBL Digital may provide email hosting or email management services as part of a hosting package or as a separate service. This may include the creation and management of email accounts associated with the client’s domain name.

Email services are provided through third-party email platforms or hosting environments managed by SMBL Digital.

2. Email Account Setup

SMBL Digital may assist with the setup of new email accounts and basic email configuration where required.

The number of email accounts included may depend on the client’s hosting package or agreed service plan.

3. Client Responsibilities

The client is responsible for the day-to-day use and management of their email accounts, including:

• Password security
• Managing mailbox storage
• Ensuring appropriate use of email services

Email services must not be used for unlawful activities, sending spam, or any activity that may damage the reputation of the domain or email servers.

4. Third-Party Email Platforms

Email services may rely on third-party platforms or providers. SMBL Digital cannot guarantee the availability, performance, or policies of external email providers.

Where email services are provided through external platforms (such as Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, or similar services), the client may be required to maintain an active subscription directly with the relevant provider.

5. SMTP Access for Third-Party Applications

Where required, SMBL Digital may provide SMTP configuration details to allow email accounts to be used with third-party applications or services.

However, SMBL Digital is not responsible for configuring or integrating email accounts with external software, devices, or third-party platforms unless this service has been specifically agreed.

6. Email Storage and Data

Email accounts may have storage limits depending on the hosting environment or email platform being used. It is the client’s responsibility to manage mailbox storage and remove unnecessary emails where required.

SMBL Digital is not responsible for lost or deleted emails resulting from user actions, storage limits, or third-party platform issues.

7. Email Migration and Transfers

Requests to migrate, export, or transfer email accounts to another provider may require administrative work.

Where email migration or export services are requested, administration or service fees may apply depending on the complexity and number of email accounts involved.

8. Service Cancellation

If email hosting services are cancelled, access to the email accounts may be removed. The client is responsible for ensuring that any required email data is exported or migrated before the service is terminated.
