Hosting – Terms & Conditions

1. Hosting Service

SMBL Digital provides website hosting services for websites developed or managed by SMBL Digital. Hosting services include server management, website availability, and basic technical maintenance required to keep the website operational.

Hosting services are provided on a recurring basis and may be billed monthly or annually depending on the selected package.

2. Contract & Billing Cycle

Hosting services operate on a no fixed-term contract basis and continue on a monthly rolling basis unless cancelled.

Clients may cancel monthly hosting services by providing reasonable notice before the next billing cycle.

Where hosting services are paid annually, the service will remain active for the full billing period. If an annual hosting plan is cancelled before the end of the billing period, no partial refunds will be issued for the remaining time.

3. Domain Renewal

Where domain management is included within the client’s hosting package, SMBL Digital will manage the renewal of the domain name on behalf of the client.

Domain renewal is included only while the hosting service remains active with SMBL Digital. If hosting services are cancelled or transferred, domain renewal responsibility may transfer back to the client.

4. Maintenance and Updates

Hosting services may include basic maintenance such as system updates, security monitoring, and minor technical adjustments required to keep the website running correctly.

This maintenance does not include major design changes, new features, or development work, which may be quoted separately if requested.

5. Third-Party Services

Websites may rely on third-party services such as plugins, external tools, or integrations. While SMBL Digital will take reasonable steps to maintain compatibility, SMBL Digital cannot guarantee the ongoing availability or functionality of services controlled by third-party providers.

6. Client Responsibilities

The client is responsible for ensuring that the website content complies with applicable laws and does not contain unlawful, harmful, or prohibited material.

The client is also responsible for maintaining any third-party accounts connected to the website unless these services are specifically managed by SMBL Digital.

7. Payment and Service Continuity

Hosting services must remain active and payments must be kept up to date for the website to remain live.

SMBL Digital reserves the right to suspend hosting services if payments become significantly overdue. Services may be restored once outstanding payments have been settled.

8. Service Cancellation

If hosting services are cancelled, the website may be taken offline unless the website is transferred to another hosting provider.

Website transfer, data export, or service handover requests may be subject to administration or service fees, as outlined in the relevant service terms.
